The Alaska Life Explorer Bottle
If you have been following The Alaska Life on any of our social channels I am sure that you have see us posting about some of the products that we began offering this year. For many of you, we don’t have to say much for you to trust us with your hard earned dollars but for some you need a little more information.
Our criteria for making this bottle was very specific with the end user in mind entire the way. The only way the Explorer Bottle earned our logo on it was by living up to every claim we wanted to make and exceeding the expectations of both new and loyal customers.
I am sure that you are thinking, "Nicole, it's a water bottle. I have no less than a dozen in my kitchen, why would I want to spend money on one when I can get one for free when I go to the next trade show in town?" While that may be true, I would still feel like you are missing out on OUR bottle. Let me tell you why.
The Explorer Bottle has a very simple and sleek design but it's the technology within the walls of the bottle that works the magic! The bottle is a double-walled and vacuum insulated, constructed with a high quality stainless steel. It has a powder coated exterior for an extra bit of durability (and adds to the cool factor) as well. The lid is constructed in such a way that the rim of the bottle fits in tightly so that the top of the bottle doesn't leak or condensate, it also has an insulated center so that the heat or cold doesn't escape while sealed. In addition we added added a carabiner clip to hook on a pack or hang when not immediately in use.
What does this mean to you? Simply put, it keeps the hot, hot and the cold, cold. You can keep ice in the bottle for 24+ hours you can keep refilling with new water and the same ice or you can keep a drink cold on a long hike in the sweltering heat and have a cool refreshing beverage when you need it the most. As for hot, you have to certainly use caution on this one, Recently my husband Kyle and I were in the Alaskan backcountry and we made piping hot coffee and filled our Explorer Bottles 2 hours later on a grassy knoll with 40 degree temps in the driving rain, we had coffee at hand that was still too hot to sip. The Explorer Bottle will keep the hot beverages for up to 12 hours. The double walls also ensure that whether you have a hot beverage or an icy cold one that the exterior is always comfortable to the touch because the vacuum insulation protects the outside layer of stainless steel from getting hot or cold to your hand. The other benefit is that if you use this in the office, put it in your gym bag, or anywhere else that you want to keep dry, the double walled construction means no sweating!
When you read '18/8 Stainless construction', this just a fancy way for saying that this is a food grade stainless steel. The Explorer Bottle is also BPA free, obviously, so extra unnecessary chemicals into your body won’t be a worry here. The bottle also boasts a generous 32 oz. capacity with a wide mouth that gives you plenty of room for ice or extra fluid. Its certainly not one of those bottles that you take two sips of and have to refill!
So wether its hot coffee in the sleet on a mountain in the backcountry or cold sweet tea on a hot July day you will never want to be on another adventure with your Alaska Life Explorer bottle further that an arms reach away!

Hope it’s going well, purchased two of your water bottles back in 2016. Lost one and the second one looks less like a cylinder and more like a cube. It’s been on many adventures! Great water bottles. Live the life!
