The building may be small, but Talkeetna Tiny House Cabin is well thought out and the surrounding area can certainly accommodate larger groups as well.
The Talkeetna Tiny House Cabin was designed after the “tiny house” movement. We wanted to create a space we would love to visit. We are located on 1.7 acres in the Fish Lake Landing Subdivison, off mile 9.5 of the Talkeetna Spur Road. It is just a two hour drive north of Anchorage and 5 miles from downtown Talkeetna. Our cabin is lush with amenities including a 1-2 person infrared sauna.
This handcrafted cabin sits on a 12’x20′ footprint and hosts an upper loft on each end that measure 12’x8′, 432 total square feet. One loft has a queen bed and one loft has two twin beds. Downstairs has a single click clack fold down couch and a 2″ memory foam floor mat. Not only is it decorated with Alaskan art and photography, we provide only the best for you with luxury Egyptian cotton sheets and towels. The bathroom houses the 1-2 person infrared sauna and wall mount hairdryer.
Other amenities include washer/dryer, fully equipped kitchen with a dorm size refrigerator, 20″ electric 4 burner stove, Ninja blender, microwave, baking and cooking gear, and dish sets for 8 guests. Outside you will find a family size fire-pit, small propane grill, RV parking with water and electric hook-up, tent sites, and plenty of parking. You will have full use of the property upon your rental days. Also included are free WiFi, 100+ channels Direct TV, one flat-screen TV downstairs and one in each loft.
