Former Army guy from Wainwright, sharing the race with an Afghan guy here in Mazar-E-Sharif, Afghanistan. He was AMAZED!!
All I can do is repeat what Mark said. Awesome reporting!! Had a friend run this (Ryan Simmons) a few times and got hooked. I use too run the Winnipeg to St. Paul race way back, so do understand a little bit of what is involved. Keep it up. You have a Great site!!
Thank you for your reporting on this race. This lower 48’r dreams one day to be there and help out. Ive started watching this race thru articles in sledding magazine. Then thru a sledding forum way back. and slowly getting bits and pieces from AKiqpilot . it has grown so much in our technology advancements too , people in villages with live feed . Its incredible from how it was , when a ping on the gps would take hours to adjust. And now i have my phone at work watching a live feed of Team 10 coming to Nome . My favorite Iron Dogger was Marc Mckenna . He was seemed to be that tough , gentle and kinda Alaskan . But a great competitor in the Iron Dog race . Thanks again . Look forward to your reports on this great race !!!
Awesome footage Thanks for getting out there and sharing with everyone!
