- 1Lb. Moose Burger
- 1/2 Cup Minced Onion
- 1 Clove Minced Garlic
- 1/4 Cup Butter
- 1 Cup Sour Cream
- 2 Tablespoons Flour
- 1 Can of Cream of Chicken or Cream of Mushroom Soup
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1/4 teaspoon Pepper
- 1 Lb. Fresh sliced Mushrooms or 8 OZ. Can (optional)
Saute´onion and garlic in the butter, stir in meat and brown.
Stir in flour, salt and mushrooms. Cook 5 minutes. Stir in soup and let simmer uncovered for 10 minutes. Stir in sour cream and heat until warm 2-3 minutes.
*Chef’s note: If you omit the mushrooms, skip the 5 minute cook time. Simply add the soup with the other ingredients and continue.
Our family prefer’s this served over brown rice it is also wonderful on white rice or egg noodles.
*Pairs great with hot buttered french bread and broccoli. This recipe can be easily expanded for larger groups.
