Moose Steak Marinade

I love cooking with moose meat and one of our family favorites is a delicious marinated moose steak cooked on the grill.  Yummy!

Combine the following ingredients in a large Ziploc or dish and marinate for 6 hours, then grill!

* 1/3 cup soy sauce
* 1/2 cup olive oil
* 1/3 cup lemon juice
* 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
* 1 tablespoon garlic powder
* 3 tablespoons dried basil
* 1 tablespoon dried parsley
* dash of pepper

Serve with red potatoes (boil for approx 20 mins) and a simple Caesar salad (romaine lettuce, grated Parmesan cheese, croutons).

The finished steaks!

We did just this the other day but marinaded the steaks for ~36 hours, then took the steaks just to 160°F on the grill.  I've never had a better moose steak, and that was the consensus from others as well...

 @Kyle Moffat Yes- we cut up marinated steaks and had kabobs over the campfire.  It was FANTASTIC!!!  The best moose steak ever!!!  Going to repeat this one for sure! Thanks!
